Super Bowl Drives Great Deals On TVs
Best Buy offers an extensive line of televisions from manufacturers including Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, Samsung, RCA and Pioneer. Depending on screen size and aspect ratio for digital televisions, prices range between $900 and $4,300. Traditional analog projection televisions have also benefited from digital TV, with prices dropping to between $1,100 and $1,900 for analog sets in screen sizes of 43 to 61 inches.
Super Bowl fans upgrading their TVs are also interested in home theater systems to make them feel like they?re part of the action. Best Buy has a large selection of home theater systems ranging in price from $249 to $1,699, with a variety of system configurations to choose from that significantly enhance sound quality. Many home theater systems now come equipped with DVD players, making it even easier to add a theater-like experience to any home.
Despite the myth that many people buy big screen televisions for Super Bowl parties and return them shortly after, Best Buy sees no significant increase in returns. ?Our returns this time of year are no different than any other time of the year,? Carlson noted.
As a special offer, now through Feb. 2, anyone purchasing a television for $399 and above at Best Buy will receive a free Sports Illustrated gift pack (up to $120 value) that includes a Best of SI yearbook, a reprint of the first edition of Sports Illustrated, and a free six-month subscription. www.bestbuy.com
