Sony TIVO has Style

Sony shines when it comes to sexy -looking electronics and its new TIVO unit is no exception. This hard drive based personal video recorder is all dolled up in a sleek, hip silver hard body that matches perfectly with Sony's WEGA branded TV Sets. Features include: "Pause and rewind" live TV programming. Fast forwarding through commercials, up to 35 hours recording times without the hassle of learning to program the VCR for each show or scrambling for blank tapes.

New "Wishlist" commands lets you enter keywords, titles, categories and it automatically records the program when a match is found - no need to search for program schedules. "Season Pass" records the selected program series (such as 'Friends' weekly episode or Bob Villa each day -reruns are not recorded). "IPreview" lets you select the preview/tease and it will record the program when it airs-- This is a new technology that several networks are beginning to use. A "TrickPlay" button that allow users to replay and slow motion judge whether that referee was right or not.
