Hip-Hop YEPP October 31, 2001 - Samsung Electronics America (SEA), a leader in the digital convergence category, and the world-famous Macy's Herald Square are teaming for a major in-store promotion in support of Samsung's award-winning YEPP brand Digital Audio players. Samsung's YEPPs will go on sale the first week of November, marking the introduction of digital convergence products to the World's Largest Store. Samsung is kicking off the YEPP promotion - which will include free giveaways, product demos, and a chance to win a 20" Samsung TV/DVD combo -- with a special in-store performance by Interscope Records' hot new R&B group City High on November 12, 2001. City High will autograph and giveaway up to 500 CD singles following their performance.

"We are very excited to be involved with Samsung and Macy's on this event", says Claudette Ortiz of City High. "The YEPP is a product that we can appreciate as artists because it is another method of getting our music to the fans."

Music lovers will enjoy the power and performance of Samsung's Digital Audio line up.
