RCA DVD System Saves Space

RCA RTDVD1 DVDAs the award-winning movies of last year begin to appear on DVD, movie buffs wanting to upgrade their home theatre and home stereo systems should consider the latest trend in home audio: super slim all-in-one products like the new RCA RTDVD1 DVD/CD Home Theatre Audio System. The RTDVD1 System combines a DVD player, a CD player, stereo tuner, amplifier, and Dolby Digital decoder in one device. The RTDVD1 also comes with five surround sound mini speakers and a 40-watt powered subwoofer. The RCA DVD/CD Home Theatre Audio System takes up 70% less space than the components it replaces - the traditional home theatre receiver, a standalone Dolby Digital decoder, and a DVD player.

The silver RCA RTDVD1 has an integrated Dolby Digital ProLogic II receiver with Dolby Digital surround. Features of the DVD player include a three-language on-screen display, 4x smooth fast-forward/reverse and DVD disc memory along with digital output and a universal remote control unit. The single disc player also features mp3 playback, and is compatible with both CD-R and CD-RW discs and has 32-track programmability.

For a quick and accurate set-up process, the RCA DVD/CD Home Theatre Audio System features an EZ Use Feature Set and Input IQ. The EZ Use Feature Set includes a Quick Connect guide, color-coded transparent wiring and speaker terminals and mount-ready speakers. Input IQ makes operating the system simple, by storing preferred settings and implementing them automatically before each use. The display on the front panel of the RTDVD1 can be customized to one of four brightness levels, depending on the consumer's preferences.

The RCA RTDVD1 is now available for $399. www.thomson-multimedia.com.
