Paradigm's Blockbuster Cinema 220 and Cinema 330 Now Shipping

February 1, 2006 - Paradigm recently expanded its award-winning Cinema™ speaker lineup to include two LCR (Left/Center/Right) systems: Cinema 220 and Cinema 330. With their larger, more powerful drivers these systems are ideal for bigger rooms and bigger screens. They also look (and sound!) spectacular mounted on the wall next to plasma or LCD displays. Paradigm's new Cinema LCR systems put home theater enthusiasts front row center.

With its elegant faceted shape, Cinema 330 represents a departure from the typical Cinema styling. Cinema 220's design remains in keeping with the very popular Cinema lineup. Cinema 330 features two 4.5" ICP™ injection-molded co-polymer polypropylene bass/midrange cones and two 4.5" high-power polypropylene bass cones. Cinema 220 features two 5.5" ICP injection-molded co-polymer polypropylene bass/midrange cones. In both models, Paradigm's perennial favorite, the 1" PTD™ pure-titanium dome tweeter, remains in charge of the high frequencies.

What does this all mean for music and home theater enthusiasts? Increased sensitivity and power handling, together with much higher output levels; high frequencies that offer superb clarity; midrange performance that is clear and concise, perfect for reproducing movie dialog; and bass that is deep and extended. While earlier Cinema models were meant specifically for smaller spaces, these far more powerful Cinema renditions can do justice to larger rooms and larger screens.

Both models can be wall mounted using either the keyhole slots on the rear of the speakers or the angle brackets provided. They can also be placed on the new PREMIER™ LS -15 tabletop/shelf stand, or the LS-25 floorstanding model; both stands were designed especially for these LCR systems. When a 330 or 220 speaker is used as a center speaker on top of a shelf or TV, Paradigm includes an adjustable TV-Top/Shelf stand that must be used to ensure stability. The Paradigm grille logos can be easily repositioned for a vertical or horizontal configuration.
