New Software to Reduces ‘R’ Rated DVDs to ‘PG’
Jan. 17, 2002--Trilogy Studios has announced the launch of its much-anticipated "Movie Mask" Web site www.moviemask.com. Featuring Trilogy's flagship products, the site will introduce visitors to the exciting world of movie manipulation through its "Movie Mask DVD Player" and "Movie Mask Director" software programs.
The public will be treated to an informative introduction of Trilogy Studios' proprietary software that will allow them, with the press of a button, to alter "R" rated DVD movies to a "PG-13" or "PG" version in real time.
Endorsed by entertainment industry notables such as Larry King, and Academy Award winning movie director Keith Merrill, owners of the "Movie Mask" product will be able to watch movies of historical and educational significance without the "R" rating.
"Movie Mask Home Director" will also put owners of the software product in the director's seat, where they will be able to selectively edit or add video, 2D graphics, 3D models and special effects to enhance the movie experience. The cutting-edge software package will empower owners to watch any movie ever made according to their own personal comfort level, values and taste.
The site also includes an FAQ page where the public can have their questions answered, as well as a comprehensive list of movies supported by the "Movie Mask" product. If a visitor's favorite movie is not on the list, they will be able to submit a request for its inclusion.
Visitors may also pre-order or make an advance purchase of the product, at a significantly discounted price, prior to its first quarter 2002 availability in the marketplace.
"We are pleased to bring this long-awaited product to the public," said David Clayton, founder and chairman of the board of Trilogy Studios. "Following years of research, we have developed a product that will revolutionize the way we watch movies in our homes. The time has arrived when we can watch movies our way."
"The Trilogy Studios technology is the most exciting thing I have seen in years," said Larry King, television personality and Trilogy Studios' director. "The cutting-edge software has multiple applications that are truly remarkable, and will have a positive impact on many industries."
"The introduction of the 'Movie Mask' product is an exciting moment for families throughout the world," said Rick Wood, chief executive officer of Trilogy Studios. "Families can now view movies that are historical and educational in nature at a rating they are comfortable with."
