Legendary Music Makers Preview New ELS Surround Sound DVD-Audio 5.1 System

October 2003-- A trio of legendary music makers - Grammy Award-winning record producers/engineers, Elliot Scheiner, Phil Ramone and George Massenburg, met at New York City's Tavern on the Green to preview the revolutionary new ELS Surround sound DVD-Audio 5.1 system that debuts in the ultimate DVD-Audio delivery system, the 2004 Acura TL.

Scheiner, a 5-time Grammy winner, best known for his work with the Eagles, Steely Dan, REM and Fleetwood Mac, collaborated with Panasonic and Acura to develop the ELS Surround system, the first factory installed, standard equipment automotive surround system.

Ramone, a 9-time Grammy winner who has produced hits for literally a "who's who" of popular music, including Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney and Aretha Franklin and Massenburg, who has won three Grammy Awards and produced/engineered hits for Linda Ronsdadt, James Taylor, Earth Wind & Fire, Garth Brooks. The Dixie Chicks, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton and Little Feat, among others, were on hand to congratulate their friend and colleague Scheiner.
