For the dad that really doesn't like to use a computer but still needs to get data from the printed page on to his computer for business purposes, the Digital IO pen from Logitech is a really interesting and unique product. The IO pen can be thought of as a hand held data storage unit. It looks like a standard pen, but when you write on the special pad, it actually translates all the squiggly writing into digital data.
