Instant Music Converts Your Old 45s, LPs and Tapes into Digital Audio Formats

Instant Music Instant Music from ADS Tech is an external USB analog-to-digital audio converter, so anyone with a collection of old 45s, LPs, and tapes can now transfer their old tunes into MP3 and other popular digital formats. Once you have converted your tunes, it is easy to add them to both your computer and any of the new portable I-Pod- type audio players. With an MSRP of only $59, this compact plug and play device is also a great solution for simply preserving or archiving your music collection.

This process is really easy; using your regular stereo outputs, you play music from your cassette, turntable, TV, radio, etc., and convert it via the Instant Music device into the your choice of MP3, .WAV, Windows Media 9 Audio or AAC audio files. You can then archive these new digital files on your computer or burn them to a CD. In a shocker, this inexpensive device is even Mac (as well as Windows) compatible!

Your Instant Music files may be played back from a PC or a portable player and are compatible with almost all of the popular digital media receiver devices. With a Media-Link connected to your home stereo system, you can also play back all of the music stored on your PC through a stereo system, or even a boom-box!

To begin computer recording, you simply plug the Instant Music device’s output into a computer’s USB port. Once your files are converted, the Nero Mix, Nero SoundTrax and Nero Wave Editor software (bundled free with Instant Music) can be used to arrange them into play lists, edit start/stop times or even cross fades from one track to the next for smooth transitions. With its step-by-step wizard features, even my young son was able to personalize his music by selecting tracks, adding transition effects, and able to use the equalizer to set the “tones” so they were all about the same level. For more advanced, professional results, the included Audio Cleaning tools can be used to filter out unwanted pops, clicks and hisses.

You can buy Instant Music from leading electronic stores and Internet sellers for an MSRP of only $59 (although you can generally find it for less at most dealers). This is a complete hardware/software solution as it comes with a 6-ft. USB 2.0 cable and a 6-ft. RCA audio/video connection cable and even a turntable grounding wire. This is a nice surprise, as so many products these days force you to go out and buy cables separately, which significantly adds to the total cost. On the software side, Nero Mix, Nero SoundTrax and Nero Wave Editor software, are all also included. All-in-all, this is a real bargain! For more information see ADS website at: www.ADStech.com.
