The Gateway KAS-303 Home Theater System -- which today takes its place at the top of the Gateway home theater system line-up -- delivers stunning clarity backed up by 1,000 watts of power. Priced at just $999 including the 6.1 receiver, progressive-scan DVD player, center channel speaker, five satellite speakers and subwoofer, it offers more power than most systems costing twice as much.

Also today, the company expanded its LCD TV line to include a compact 13-inch version and a 30-inch 16:9 wide-screen model, making Gateway the premier destination for digital TVs.

KAS-303 Home Theater System
The KAS-303 Gateway Home Theater System uses digital amplification for maximum sound augmentation and quality. A progressive-scan DVD player and 600-watt 6.1 receiver combined with a 400-watt Hsu Research subwoofer, make experiencing live concerts and movies so realistic, customers will feel like they're part of the action.

The intuitive design makes this home theater easy to set up and use. It offers up to 19 digital signal processing modes for the clearest possible signal and audio quality. Five satellite speakers are small but powerful and designed to surround the room with dynamic audio without looking obtrusive. Integrated Dolby

This 30-inch LCD TV features high-definition clarity and a wide 170-degree viewing angle for a dramatic cinematic experience. A contrast ratio of 350:1 and a 450 cd/m2 brightness rating enhance the visual impact.

Leveraging advanced digital image processing, Gateway's LCD TV delivers bright, flicker-free pictures. This new set has HDTV signal compatibility via YPbPr, DVI or VGI and a built-in digital visual interface (DVI) eliminates the need for an analog-to-digital conversion.
