The Blu-Ray is dual layer dvd recording that allows you to store 63 hours of analog content or 4.5 hour’s of high definition on ONE DVD DISC. Panasonic just revealed the world's first DVD recorder that supports single-side, dual-layer Blu-Ray discs with a maximum capacity of 50GB. The recorder will be in the DIGA line of Panasonic's DVD players with a model name - DMR-E700BD. The DMR-E700BD can record up to four and a half hours of high-definition content and 63 hours of normal Analog content, said the firm.
