Disc Makers Introduces Automated CD Ripper/Duper

January 31st, 2006 - Disc Makers, a leading manufacturer of CD and DVD duplicators, has released the Pico, a powerful single-drive automated DVD/CD duplicator, now featuring optional ripping software that lets users rip up to 25 CDs at a time to their home or office computer.

"The popularity of portable MP3 players has created the need for an easier way to convert existing CD collections to digital formats," explains Tony van Veen, Disc Makers' Executive Vice President. "The Pico satisfies this need by automating the ripping process and providing easy CD and DVD duplication, making it the perfect home or office desktop assistant."

With the new enhanced Riptastic software loaded into the Pico, users simply stack up to 25 of their favorite CDs, click to start the process, and the system will automatically covert CDs to MP3 files or any other file type of your choice. The user-friendly software even looks up artist, album, and track titles automatically.

The Pico doubles as the world's smallest automated DVD/CD duplicator and allows any small business owner, musician, filmmaker, teacher, or salesperson to duplicate (burn) up to 25 copies at a time for projects or presentations.

The basic Pico duplicator costs $699 and the Riptastic software option is an additional $99. The Pico is now available direct from Disc Makers (www.discmakers.com).
