Best Home Theater Projector: SONY VPL-VW10HT

What can you say about an LCD projector that has an MSRP of only $7990, which in side-by-side comparisons is only bested by $25,000 competitors? Well, that is what this Sony is all about.
Offering HDTV quality in a small form factor, using the ONLY native 16 x 9 LCD chips on the market (made by Sony and naturally exclusive to the "10"), this little Sony is a gem. The 10 was designed from the ground up to be a home theater projector, whereas many other projectors start life as "business projectors" optimized to project PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, etc. When you factor in high brightness, excellent detail and resolution, fine color and a fast and simple setup, you have one great performer. This is one of the few products I have seen lately that offers more than expected value for the money.
