DVD Changer Adds More Options for In-Vehicle EntertainmentAug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Alpine Electronics of America, Inc., the industry-leading manufacturer of high performance mobile electronics, announced that it is currently shipping the DVD Changer, the newest addition to Alpine's changer product line. The DHA-S680 6-Disc DVD/CD/Video CD Changer supplements Alpine's current, best-selling line of CD changers and offers more mobile in-vehicle entertainment options for consumers.

The addition of the DHA-S680 6-Disc DVD/CD/Video CD Changer provides consumers the opportunity to broaden their playback capability to include music and video, in essence expanding the customization options of their rear seat entertainment system. The DHA-S680 is an Ai-NET system component or can be used as a stand-alone changer for rear seat entertainment and includes Dolby Digital(TM) and DTS(TM) compatibility, as well as its own remote control. When combined with other Alpine products, such as the TMX-R680A overhead monitor, Dolby Digital processor and Bass Engine(TM) Ready amplifiers and speakers, the "home theater in a car" experience never looked or sounded better.
