Adobe and Microsoft to Offer Free High Definition Video Workshops

June 2004 - Adobe Systems Incorporated just announced that it is teaming up with Microsoft's Digital Media Division to deliver a new educational workshop seminar series for video producers, showcasing breakthrough real-time, PC-based, high definition (HD) video production and encoding solutions.

Attendees will learn about end-to-end HD workflows featuring Adobe Premiere® Pro, and desktop Windows XP-based solutions, including those from BOXX Technologies, CineForm, & GridIron Software and Matrox. Additionally, and real-time Windows Media Video High Definition (WMV HD) capture and encoding solutions from Digital Rapids and others will be featured.

In June and July the Desktop HD Tour will visit four major cities in the world's top centers for video production: Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and London. The international tour will demonstrate how top content pros such as Ben Waggoner and Scott Bryant have successfully integrated HD into their current production environments. Workshops include a 90-minute presentation followed by a 90-minute reception and demonstration area.
