Best Buy Announces Free Phone Wednesday

Best Buy Mobile just announced a one-day sale event on smartphones. Head on over to your local Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile specialty store, or shop online at BestBuy.com to snag the Motorola Atrix 4G (AT&T), Nexus S 4G from Google (Sprint), and Samsung Fascinate (Verizon) for free with a new or upgrade purchase with two-year activation. The offer is only good on Aug. 17, 2011 only.

"Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to match people to the smartphone options that are right for them, and we love being able to offer in-demand phones at a great price - free," said Scott Anderson, head of merchandising at Best Buy Mobile. "We've worked very hard to deliver a superior experience in the store and throughout the life of these phones, and will continue to give people a great excuse to come visit us for their mobile needs."

AT&T is introducing a new range of smartphones and quick messaging phones this spring. These phones help make life easier for customers as they stay connected to family, friends and business connections on the move.

In the smartphone category, AT&T will offer the Nokia E71x & Samsung Propel smartphones. In addition, AT&T will have the Samsung Impression, Samsung Magnet, and LG Xenon and Neon, which takes the number of full-keyboard mobile phones offered by AT&T to seven.
