Cambridge Soundworks Model 88 is back and even better. This year's 88CD adds a built-in CD player and a two-alarm clock radio to the mix. Like the original 88, the 88CD extends the bass response of its two full-range speakers on the front panel with an internal powered subwoofer that pushes the CSW's level of sound quality far beyond that of even the best boomboxes (or even rack systems) I've heard. The Model 88CD comes with a small membrane-keypad remote control about the size of a credit card that gives you full command of the CD player, AM/FM tuner, and dual-alarm clock radio.
