VIZIO Getting into the PC Business this Spring

 VIZIO All-in-One PC

VIZIO has officially entered the computer market and will be releasing their all-in-one PCs and laptops this spring. Their all-in-one PCs will come in two sizes—24-and 27-inch versions—and feature a very sleek design (that's sharp and elegant at the same time) with an ultra-thin keyboard, touchpad and a base unit. The screen is said to be thinner than the iMac, only because the computer's guts are sandwiched on the aluminum base. It also features stereo speakers that are located on each side of the base and a subwoofer in the power supply. There's also an HDMI input, which allows users to use the display as a TV, but VIZIO isn't including a TV tuner with this device. VIZIO also hasn't released info on what Intel processor it'll use in its new all-in-one PCs, but more info will probably drop closer to its ship date, which is said to be around May or June.Read more

HP Unveils New Omni 27 All-in-One Desktop PC

 HP Omni 27

HP's latest all-in-one computer – the Omni 27 – will change the way you think about desktop PCs. Unveiled a week prior to the largest consumer electronics trade show of the year - 2012 CES - this beauty comes packed with 6 gigs of RAM, up to 2 terabytes of storage, a built-in DVD drive, Beats Audio, and offers a choice of dual or quadcore Intel processors. An optional Blu-Ray disc drive, TV tuner and HDMI-in port is also available.

The Omni's 27-inch diagonal HD display isn't touchscreen like the company's TouchSmart line, but is gorgeous nonetheless with its edge-to-edge glass that tilts up to 25 degrees for comfort. However, just like HP's TouchSmart all-in-one PCs, the Omni 27 includes HP's Magic Canvas software which lets you expand the desktop horizontally to accommodate photos, videos and applications. HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One C510a Review

 HP Photosmart eStation C510a

When you think of office printing, it's hard not to think of HP. It's a safe bet that any person or company who has ever owned a printer has probably owned an HP.

Over the course of the last couple of years, HP has sought to really innovate what a printer looks like and the way we use them. Take their latest Photosmart eStation C510a. This baby is a fast color inkjet multi-function device with a unique difference. HP calls this "difference" the Zeen, a removable touchscreen control panel running the Android 2.1 operating system and offering tablet-PC-like functionality, including Web browsing. It even acts as detachable eReader.

Cost: $249.99-$399.99
Where to Buy: Amazon

No one can argue that tablets are probably the best selling consumer electronics product this year. Marrying a printer with a tablet is an interesting idea to say the least, but if you're willing to spend a little more on your inkjet, you do get a pretty nice little ancillary Android device that allows you to do some limited, but fun functions.

The 7-inch Zeen looks and works great as the C510a control panel. Its color touchscreen is gorgeous, and it accepts "taps" and "swipes" for navigating and performing key printing functions. When the Zeen is undocked, you still are able to control the Photosmart eStation, or you can print from an SD card loaded in the top-mounted slot, as well as print Web pages.Read more

Samsung's New Series 7 All-In-One PC

Samsung's New Series 7 All-In-One PC Offers Powerful Computing Features in a Sophisticated and Easy-to-Use Package

 Samsung Series 7 All-In-One PC

Samsung is getting to work expanding its footprint in the U.S. For the first time, the electronics giant has introduced a desktop PC for the American market.

The Samsung Series 7 All-In-One PC joins the all-in-one trend, offering a 23-inch touchscreen display that's only 16 millimeters thick, with the system components buried in the unit's base. The result is a different, slightly sleeker look than the typical all-in-one delivers. You can lay the screen flat in order to make the best use of the touchscreen interface, and to use it as a tablet.

Samsung Series 7 All-In-One PC side

The upcoming device is not only a powerful desktop, but serves as an innovative and functional touch screen device allowing for seamless future compatibility with Windows 8. The touch screen will work in sync with Samsung's Touch Launcher software in order to optimize the touch screen experience, making the Samsung Series 7 All-In-One a desirable collection apart from other touch screen desktops because of the lack of usability featured on competing devices.
